SHCG: What an adorable kissy face! This LO is so simple yet so cute. I love the little bits of torn pink paper around the edge and the ribbon scraps are a great mat for the picture. My only suggestion would have been to maybe make the "do you want" a little bigger and let it span across the top of the page and leave the "some of this" where it is. I feel it would have used the space a little better. Other than that, great job!
SHCG: That is a great photo with a great story to go with it! I absolutely love those big eyes of hers, too! I like that you outlined the title and added three little dots to each o. I also like the rubon photo mat and how the flourish seems like an extension of her crazy curls. I've noticed that all of the suggestions you've received are so different. I've come back to this page a number of times and I still can't quite articulate my own critiques. I have a few, I just wanna make sure they'd be clear and worth your consideration, so I'm gonna sit on this a little longer.
SHCG: What a cute picture!! I love your use of colors on this page, use of ribbon, and overall use of leftovers! I do have a suggestion...right now there seems to be some empty space so, I think if you moved the title across the top of the page, moved the picture to the center and made a matching bow to put over the bottom pieces of ribbon it might clear up some of the empty space. Love the page and again I love that face!
SHCJ: This is so precious! Awesome leftover usage! I love the ribbons and the title is so perfect! I love those papers for this. I would add a torn piece of the border pp under the upper left corner just slightly peeking out from underneath. I love the use of white space on this Tiff. You're totally rockin' here!
SHCG: Oh my goodness this is freaking adorable! I so love the pairing of hte title with the cute photo! I personally love this just the way it is, it has beautiful color yet the title and the photo are definately where they should be, the center of attention. Excellent!
SHCG: when I saw this I couldn't help thinking about layout called Fishy Kisses. http://www.scrapbook.com/gallery/?m=image&id=1099637&type=searchwords&s=fish+kiss&page=1&vote=0 While I just LUV your layout, use of ribbon, photo, etc... a title across the top (in pink of course) might look great. The title could be something as simple as SMOOCH or smouch with just a little glitter on the edges of the letters...
SHCG - This is too priceless! Love that pic! I dig the lovely vintage-y rose colors & papers you use here, very pretty. Outstanding use of your leftovers, the ribbon "matte" (very innovative!) & torn pink pieces look splendid. I am wishing that the piece that says "October 2007" was a little bigger, as there seems to be a lot of space up there above the photo. Overall, love this response to the challenge, a super serving of leftovers, Tiffany!
SHCG: Love, love this photo! She is adorable and her kissy face too! I like everything here-the torn paper with the journaling on it, the flowers-few more flowers on top of the photo will look great, I think, the ribbon frame is cool, so is the transparency. I think you can use some more pink something-photo corner, or few flower in one corner of the photo. I wanna see the Christmas cards!
SHCG: I really love all of the inking on this page. Love the ribbon under the photo. Love all of the paper. I could see a pink photo corner on the top left and bottom right corners of the photo taht's the same color as the paper. or maybe some of those flowers you cut out if you have any left. Just something between the title and the photo right there in the upper left, just seems a little spacy to me. This photo is absolutely hilarious! I cannot wait to see your christmas cards!
Title: do you want some of this? Journaling: October 2007 Who wouldn't want some of this adorable kissy face? Cristina, you are too much!
This is the face I see when Cristina kisses me good night. I just had to capture it. This hilarious kissy face inspired our Christmas cards (you'll see those later). The leftovers were the ribbon pieces that form a pseudo photo mat. I recently reorganized my ribbon and these were some of the little strips that weren't long enough to store. Also, the pink torn pieces are from a piece of scrap that was leftover from a previous layout.
