ds cleaning up from his 1st birthday party in February. Journaling: It's hard to believe it's been a year since you were born. Probably the fast year of our lives. But, it's definitely been the best one, too. The entire family came to celebrate with you. You were a little overwhelmed at first, but warmed up when you saw the cake. You went to town and dug into it just like a one-year old should. Then the tears came. We thought it was the crowd watching you that made you cry. It wasn't until we took you in the tub and wiped off your face that we realized you were allergic to the green food coloring and it was burning your face. I'm pretty sure I got a 'Mother of the Year' Award for that one!
