This page is not really all that exciting as far as a layout goes. It is the photo of my son, Campbell, and the paper piecing of Woody that I want to show. This is my first attempt at paper piecing, so I am pretty happy with how it turned out. I used the cover of one of Cam's colouring books, traced the picture onto tracing paper backwards, then used carbon paper to put the design on the back of the pattern papers. Once I had them all cut, and matted with the black, they all went together just great. I had to use my imagination to get the embossing on the boots, as well as the spurs. The best thing about this project is that he actually moves like a doll...I used brads in the arms and legs, so you can pose him!!
