This lo is of my Grandma's Bible and a little story behind it.
Grandma Fallon’s Bible has always been prevalent in my mind. She kept it in the drawer in the end table by her reclining chair. She often read the book when she could knit no longer.
I was intrigued by her Bible because I loved to read the family history she recorded inside. Grandma unmistakable scrawl documented births, death and marriages in the blank front and back pages of her Bible. Tucked neatly inside her Bible were prayers cards of family and friends and a few of her favorite pictures. (Aunt Beverly Fallon possesses these pages as she works on the family history.)
Grandma’s Bible rests on my night stand now. I am not the devout Catholic that she was, but I am slowly finding my way back to God. The presence of Grandma’s Bible is helping me to define my place as a Christian.
