When trying to get my passport for my trip to Europe, I had nothing but problems. My passport was supposed to be delivered two days before I left for my trip. When I checked the delivery status the next day it changed, now it was supposed to be delivered the day AFTER I was scheduled to leave! After calling lots of numbers and spending hours on hold I finally got a hold of someone who said they could help. She told me that my passport would be shipped out the very next day and that it would be overnighted to my house. I was so excited I was willing to pay the extra $62.00. My excitement was short-lived however. When putting my passport in the mail, they put it into the regular mail, not priority. There was no way my passport was going to be here on time, so we ended up completely rearranging our trip. We had to buy new tickets(which are not cheap!), take more time off work, and find new tours. A week and a half later I got my passport in the mail, we went on our vacation and had a great time. The moral of the story is always make sure you plan things with plenty of time to spare.
