We were all excited to go to the baseball game in Anaheim, mostly just to get away from the heat of Palm Springs. One positive thing came out of Mike being on crutches at this time..................we got to park close in the handicap parking area  His surgeon got him a temporary handicap parking permit that we used to it’s fullest! Mike did joke a couple of times while we were in Palm Springs that it was hard to find an open handicap space there because all the retirees were beating us too them! We did get to park super close to the stadium though. Any closer and we would have been on first base. Thanks Mike!
We knew our seats were in the 5th row, but we didn’t know that we were going to be in full sun the whole game and that it was going to be 90 degrees in Anaheim that day. So much for getting away from the heat! Tina’s’ dad lives right by the stadium so when we bought the tickets we got a couple extra for him and a friend to come. The Angels played the Royals and crushed them. At the time of this game, the Angels were in 1st place and the Mariners were in 2nd in the division, so we were secretly hoping the Angels would lose 
When the game was over we all went over to the Disney Boardwalk and did a little shopping and just walked around. We’ve never been so close to Disneyland and not gone in. I felt the Pirates of the Caribbean ride calling out our names. It was borderline torture! We ate at the ESPN Zone, which is the boys’ favorite place there and then it was time to head back to Palm Springs. We had a really great time that day and we can now check off another Ball park that we have been able to visit.
