So a few of you already know about this ordeal that occurred here on Saturday but I have been needing to scrap this to just get it all out. I tried to write without any capitals or anything so I hope it doesn't seem to weird but the capital letters seemed to distract the eye if that makes any sense. I did catch that I forgot the date and added it to my copy :) and yes still obsessed with Amanda's heart swirl! lol I'll try to do do something new next time LOL thanks for looking
Journaling-
today was the scariest day of my life. daddy and i were at the top of snowy mountain pass some 5 hours from home when I received a phone call that you had been in a bad car accident and we had to get to the hospital right now. i couldn't speak almost the whole way. i just kept phoning the hospital. They told me that you had been transferred to another hospital i phoned them a hundred times. no one would tell me anything. they would say that you were ok but i needed to get there. when i heard it was a roll over accident down a huge embankment i thought i would pass out right there. when i found out the whole story i still hadn't gotten to you but all i could do was say thank you God over and over. i wasn't sure who else to talk to at that moment. i was told that you and grandma decided to do some christmas shopping and took daddy's 4x4 truck just to be safe. the truck hit ice and slid over a very steep embankment rolling at least twice and hitting two trees which kept you safe until you could get out. another miracle was that two men saw the accident and rushed down the steep terrain to rescue you as you dangled upside down you were so brave you didn't cry or scream just asked if it was safe to take your seatbelt off now once you heard yes you fell to the roof and tried to find a way out. one of your rescuers kicked out the rest of the smashed rear window and pulled you out. because the severity of the slope he could not carry you and you had to crawl up on your own his wife was waiting at the top to give you some much deserved comfort while the other man went down to get grandma out. after they finally managed to cut her seatbelt they pulled her out through a window while the truck was sliding to another plunge of 65 ft. when the ambulance arrived to take you both to the hospital you were your usual calm self. you told me later that you wanted to cry for me but you just said once that you wanted your mommy and decided not to cry even though you had tears because you wanted to a good boy for them. once you arrived at the hospital the staff was very surprised to see you didn't have a scratch on you! they said they wished they could keep you forever. you were so polite and funny telling them all about school. they brought you some juice and a turkey sandwich and since you didn't want to be rude and mention that you were a vegetarian you just quietly picked the turkey off and ate the bread they thought this was quite funny. since daddy and i were still so far away and they had to transfer grandma to another hospital an hour away they had no choice but to take you along. you were thrilled to ride in the front of the ambulance. your accident was at 11am and I didn't get to you until 7pm. you were so brave only quietly whimpering for mommy once. when I finally could see you, hold you, see in person that you really and truly were ok i thought i would just burst with gratitude. i'm sure that i have never felt happier in my life. you didn't have one scratch. not one bruise. you were perfect just as i left you. when we saw the truck the next day it hit us even more how blessed we had been. all of daddy's tools had been in the back right behind your seat the seat that your car seat was strapped to was pulled out of the floor the windows smashed, the roof caved in and all the tools, glass and other objects had flown around inside the truck with you but not one of them had touched you. i don't think i could prayed harder in thanks than i did that day

** Grandma was fine too btw few bruises and a bit of a sore neck but thankfully they were both fine**
