My daughter is a miracle baby. She was born by C-Section a little less than seven months pregnant. My uterus ruptured. I am only alive today because I was in the hospital, my doctor was present, and my daughter's doctor was present. One minute the doctor was pulling a syringe full of blood out of me and then I was being ran down the hall in my bed. I saw doors coming, and then quickly opened by unknown persons. I remember the room whirling and I couldn't breathe.....then I woke up and had a little baby girl whose head was smaller than my hand. She is the mother of Emily. So, I feel the guardian angels were watching over us all the day of my daughter's birth, and my granddaughter's. My daughter was to go in for induced labor. My daughter told the doctor how She was born. Since she had had prior C-sections herself, he looked alarmed. He said, you're going to have to come back tomorrow and have a C-Section. It was upsetting, not only not prepared for it, but did not know the doctor had not acknowledged this fact since she had also had a normal birth. This rupture tends to occur in former C-section patients and it seems its a law or procedure not to take any chances and do the c-sections. But she was glad to get it over with quick! I am so happy to have the Guardian angels watching over us and our children.

Two years ago, Emily was found to have only one good kidney. Her left one never fully formed. She suffers from frequent kidney infections, and is on daily antibiotics for the rest of her life. It remains to be seen what they have planned for her..Kidney infections are horrible, even worse in a five year old girl.
