Journaling reads: "2004 was not the best year for me. I had officially started classes at U of L and had a decent job at The Cookie Company with KT. I found out that you'd soon be moving to Tennessee to go to Grad School. To make up for '03 and to celebrate your graduation, in June we went to Washington D.C. I have so many memories of that trip: the gay bar right next door to our hotel (where all the middle aged lesbians hit on me); getting lost on the subway trying to find Target; the pride fair and parade; I could go on. Once home, things didn't improve for me as I lost my job at The Cookie Company and nearly had to give up my cats. Plus, it was almost time to say goodbye."
