This is for the Excellent and Ecclectic Challenge for Style's the Word. We were asked this month to scraplift the Amazing TessaAnn.... Love her work... Here is my take of her altered clipboard she did titled "annie", i chose to do a layout instead. I used her ideas of the oversized tag, layered paper and framing! this is my cat Amos, his life is so rough! As i was thinking of him last night scrapping this page i decided to write him a poem, now keep in mind i am NO POET! ha!
Title: Ode to my Cat
Journaling reads:
Sometimes I wish I was a cat,
To sit in the window all warm like that.

With not a worry, with not a care,
To sleep all day, all perched up there.

Is there room for me in that window please?
So thoroughly relaxed and so at ease?

Just one day of relaxing bliss,
But then just think of all I’d miss.

The days are short, they go so fast,
If I slept all day, the memories they’d pass.

I’d miss the moments, those special hugs,
From family that I love so much.

So I’ll stay who I am and stand on two feet,
And you stay in that window and you get your sleep.
