I find myself clicking on different LO's in your gallery because I want to read the journaling... Once again I just love how you recreate the moments you capture on your pages.
I hope that your sister will be ok. She looks strong and healthy. As someone with a heart problem myself it can be very scary to hear that the one organ in your body you get attached to without realising it, is sick. I wish you and your family a happy and healthy 2008. Great LO:>)
This is my sister Sarah Jane (age 17). This picture was taken in a candy store in Halifax, NS called Freak Lunchbox. Actually, the owner had a bird when I snapped this photo and demanded that I 'delete that and stop taking pictures'. Anyone who knows Sarah at all knows that she is a hard core sugar addict.
Journaling reads: After a rough couple of days spent at the IWK Children's Hospital in Halifax, NS, where Sarah Jane was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect (long q-t syndrome), we unwound at a local candy store called Freak Lunchbox. I can think of no better place for my sister, Sarah, to indulge as she has the biggest sweet tooth I have ever seen! It may have something to do with us giving her suckers & treats since her birth. LOL. September 2007.
The flowery type cut outs are actually from the background paper. I thought they looked funky so I cut them from the back behind the layers...that sheet of BG paper went a long way!
