This is a lo I did for 2 challenges. My first challenges since I have been on this board... so the challenges are for the Jan. color challenge where 75% of your lo had to be white... which I am soo a color kind of girl and I also have a lot of white space, which let me tell you is a REAL challenge for me too. The second challenge is the we love flowers challenge, the twist here was to alter the flower some way, on some of the larger ones I chalked them real lightly on the outer edges.

I wanted to keep this lo really clean and crisp like the photo and chose to keep it simple in color. I did all the flowers with my new cricut machine that my dh bought me for christmas. I layered using a lot of the different pieces of the cuts for the flowers. The smaller white flowers and peach hearts I punched. The monogram is also from the george font. I did the twist for the Jan color challenge which was to use 3 groups of 3, which mine are: 3 lines of ric-rac, 3 little heart brads, and 3 babbles on the top ric-rac. The 3 lines of ric-rac is a tag that pulls out for hidden journaling. I loved how this turned out and I love the clean look to this, I will be TRYING to do more of these.

The journaling reads: "Morgan, you are such a beautiful little lady here at 8. You had just got your hair cut above your shoulders and you loved your Easter dress this year; which you are wearing. This was the year you started to trade your dresses for your tomboy wear. This picture captures the true sweetness and gentleness that lies within you. I love you, mommy."
