This is one of my all time favorite LOs, even if it was rejected by HOF and PKPT. The photo of DH and our DD is sow sweet, and rather than a typical "daddy's princess" layout - I wanted to turn the tables. Hidden journaling reads:
Every girl dreams of
her prince charming.
What will he be like?
What will he look like?
Where will I find him?
How will he find me?
As a young girl I loved horses, so of course my tall, dark, and handsome prince would be riding a white horse.
I have found my prince in your daddy. He is kind, gentle and loving. He is tall with blue eyes that speak many unspoken words. A man of faith and integrity.
I am glad we found each other.
I never thought about the fact that I might have to share my prince some day.
But that is exactly what has happened. I know that you are daddy’s little princess and he is your prince. There is no steed, but instead you yell “Daddy!” every time his white truck pulls into the driveway. He dotes on you and loves to brush your hair. He is the great knight that saves you from your big brother. He is the king of the household who offers a scolding when needed. He is your hero. The person you call for every morning when you wake up, and kiss good night at bedtime.
Someday you will find your own
prince charming, but for now...
I am happy to share the
love of my life with you.
