Hidden Journaling on the tag behind the photo reads: It's something so simple. Everybody does it, and they do it without even thinking about it. Until that fateful day in October, I was part of everybody. Then I became a statistic, and ever breath I took was a labor of love. Through the pain I fought to make my muscles work, to fill my lungs with something other then fluid. As I fought images filled my head reminding why I needed to fight. My husband's smile, my's son's laughter...the feeling of his little arms around my neck. These things became my mantra, my reason for continueing my efforts to Just breathe...
