Wow.. An amazing layout.. Really like how you arranged this layout and the creative layering of papers and photos.. By the way.. You look gorgous.. Right out of the 50's.. I love the journaling. That title fits the pictures style so well.. I would submit these layouts to a magazine.. They are really very good!..
WOW! Awesome layout!! Love the journaling block...and you journaled in it too!!! Great job on the stamping....the scalloped edged mat...wonderful details, Sarah!!
I tried about 50 times to get a good picture of this layout and this was the best I got- hope it looks alright. Anyway, these are pictures of me modeling a dress that my grandmother made in the 1950's. For the white piece of paper I used the Autumn Leaves-French Twist paper as a pattern, then stamped around the edges, and then matted it on 12x12 black cardstock. The epoxy stickers and journaling tag are by Creative Imaginations. Journaling reads: "In the 1950's my grandmother, Ruth Perdue, saw a dress in a magazine. The dress was made by an Italian designer and she liked it so much that she decided to make her own. In the summer of 2006, she gave it to me, knowing my love for vintage clothing. When I tried it on it fit perfectly. These are pictures of me modeling the dress one summer afternoon. The hats, gloves, and pearls also belonged to my grandmother. The jacket was her wedding jacket. I remember when I wore that dress I felt just like Audrey Hepburn, so elegant and grown up....." TFL
