Beautiful page, I love how you tied the cards in with the special meaning for you. And including the patch was a wonderful idea. Beautiful page, very nice job.
I made this page in memory of my grandpa who passed away this year. The page was made using Karen Foster's Patriotic Alphabet, Blue & Red Cardstock, Some playing cards, vellum, & a patch from my grandpa's work shirt
The cards are a *perfect cribbage hand* my grandpa's favorite game - to me it also symbolizes life in a way
The Journaling says:One thing I'll never forget about my Grandpa is that he taught me how to play cribbage. He loved playing cards and would never turn down a game. he was also a proud wat veteran and had received many medals. But most of all my Grandpa was the strongest man i knew. Even in his worst time he never complained, and he always had his sense of humor. I love you Grandpa & miss you a lot!
