So this is the way you can find Piper when she isn't getting into trouble LOL such a contrast! but her favorite thing to do is read books! and she has discovered that Keean comes home from school with home reading books every day so he always picks two one for him and one that she will like.. although thsi girl is thrilled with any book even the novel I am reading to Keean (Spiderwick LOVE it!!) she will sit for a good 10 mins and listen to.. shocks me at 16 months! I think my book worm gene has really been passed in ti this one! :) anyways It was supposed to just have the two words and try to do a very clean page.. but you all know that I can just never stop talking and so two words with me always turns into many!! ha! thanks for looking :)
journaling- Saying you are obsessed with books would be a drastic understatement since you were quite a small baby you had a deep fascination with them. every card or newspaper was proudly proclaimed to be a “boook”. You crawl up unto anyone's lap with your books in tow make them read you every page. You are also sure that mommy doesn’t read them as well as daddy and get quite upset at me when I read certain books in a different way than him. You will take that book back from me and trot of to find the superior reader of the house. You know most of the words in your five favorite books and often recite the names of animals and the sounds they make before I get a chance. One book you love is “That’s not my dolly” in which you go through a series of reasons as to why each doll is not the perfect doll. You certainly surprised me the other day when I started the book with “that’s not my dolly” to which you promptly replied “her shoooes too bumpy” WOW I had no idea you would be catching on to things this quick. And when daddy reads you favorite “Where is mommy hiding” you know exactly what's behind each flap and proudly announce it as soon as he turns to the page. Every time Daddy asks “Is mommy being the...” you shout “NO!” and not until the last page do you say “yes!” what a smartie you are makes me so proud of you! I really hope you always keep this love of books through out your life. It has brought so much to my life and I just know your smart enough to see your on to something with these amazing things called books. Enjoy this passion it will take you anywhere, everywhere and everything n between. January 17 2008
