Oh my gosh, I can see why it's a fav, it's absolutely fabulous! I love the design, love your technique and love your use of non-scrappy things. So much dimension.
This is a photo of my husband (then boyfriend) in the Florida everglades.
I am working on my distressing techniques. There a lot of elements here. All of the papers have been either torn, inked, or both. I glittered all the flowers. For the three small ones I used vintage buttons, repeating them in the circle. For the large flower I used faux tourquise stones and also repeated them. The leaves for the large flower are off of metal button covers. The salamander is an old pin. The sun is from my bead collection. Yes those are metal studs for a bedazzler. I used raffia to finish it off. I think out of all of my layouts this is my fave so far.
