This is a LO that I did of My Favorite Christmas Gifts.
Photos Include:
New Kodak Easy Share Z812 IS Camera
PC Cricut with three cartridges and tool kit
and two beautiful handmade gifts: a mini shadow box frame with a picture of my DD and a plaque with a scrapbooking poem.

Left journal tags read:
(attached to camera pic) Kodak Easy Share Z812 IS camera, that I technically received from many people as I used gift cards to buy it.

(attached to Cricut photo) Provo Craft Cricut that I received from my wonderful daughter (and her father).

Right side tag reads:
And a handmade mini shadow box with Megan's favorite picture in the middle and a beautiful plaque with a touching poem "why we scrap".

Journaling reads:
My Favorite Christmas Gifts
I received many wonderful gifts for Christmas however if I had to pick my favorites it would be these four.
The Cricut was something I had wanted for a very long time and from my daughter Megan and her father I got my long desired scrapbooking companion. The Kodak camera was actually a gift from multiple people: My parents, my niece Ashley and Megan's Grandfather Mike. My old Kodak camera broke in August of 2007 and I received several gift cards to Best Buy for Christmas. I used those gift cards to buy the Kodak Easy Share Z812 IS.
The other two gifts that I find near and dear to my heart are two handmade gifts I received from my friend Amanda. One a beautiful mini shadow box made in my favorite colors and a picture of my precious Megan in the center and the other a touching poem that puts into words my hobby scrapbooking. I especially find these special and will always cherish them.

Poem on plaque reads:
We gather up pictures
and bits of our past
and scrapbook them into
a gift that will last.
We write about milestones
and travels and such-
the times of our lives that
we treasure so much.
A few special photos, a family tree,
a few thoughtful words,
and soon we will see -
This album I've made
is much more than a book,
it's worth even more
than the time it took.
It's a gift holding memories
and made with great care
with my heart and my hands
and with all my love to share.

The poinsettias on the page were purchased at the dollar store and I used Delta Ceramcoat Sparkle Glaze on the edges for the glitter...the sparkle glaze goes on white and dries clear so all you see is the glitter. I all painted the large brads I used in the center with the sparkle glaze as well as the white border around my journaling and all my tags. I stippled the sparkle glze around the edges of the two photos with the plaque and the shadow box.
