I'm loving your backgrounds! Great pics and love the bamboo frames, perfect with these pics. Love the shot of you wearing one of the conical hats. They look very comfy and certainly look as though they do a great job of keeping the sun off your face and the back of your neck. You have done a lot of work today girl. Yes, I work backward, so I'm looking at this one last......all amazing and so interesting. Take care, and looking forward to lots more.

Conical Hats

These really do a great job of sun protection. They are also used to keep off the rain. these women are actually making double layered ones...with a cut out picture between the layers that only show when held up to the sun. These photos were taken at a small village where everyone is involved in making these. The little inset is of me, weraing a conical hat as we travelled down a river a few days before.
