Mesers and roses -- it doesn't get much better than this! I've got a Siamese that is My Cat -- no one else exists to him -- and my daughter has a half-meser, who regularly tries to eat any flowers her boyfriend gives her.
I think this ROCKS!!!!!!
Love the distressing and the pictures - they make me smile - my cat eats all house plants and flowers so I can relate :)
Adding to favs!!!!
I love this layout. Though in my house you've missed scrapping the big puddles of urk in the living room that are the inevitable next step any time I get flowers. Love the inking and the colors.
alright, I don't understand why you don't like this! I love it! The cats are soooo cute! The way you caught the one smelling the flowers is just adorable! I also love how you got all those pics on one page. Going into my favorites!
Beautiful LO. I love how you used the little pictures too. I love using alot of pictures on my pages and sometimes run out of ideas of how to get more on a page.
I love this too Gina-my fav of yours so far!! Love all the squares & pics-what cute kitties! i like the butterflies & pp's here-shoot,i like it all, great job girl!
I love this LO.. I have no idea what you are talking about woman..lol I love the way you did the title, the sanding of the pic edges...the pics are so cute!! Love the use of the glitter stack pp's.. I have that stack too and am always trying to find ways to use it. Awesome job on this challenge... Are those hearts bling or brads? They are very cute as well..
I did this for the pet, multi-pic and the Scrap Happens January 2 challenge. The Scrap Happens challenge is called "black, white, and red all over." I had to use only those three colors, the main photo had to be B&W, and I had to include at least 4 photos. I've included 14!
I don't like how this LO turned out. I inked on a plain piece of white CS, used a square punch to make one inch squares of pp and photos, and painted the word "roses" with red glitter paint. The butterflies are stamped (my first attempt with clear stamps) and the dots behind them are black paint. You can't read it too well, but it says, "take time. Smell the roses." The journaling says, " Valentine's Day 2006: the girls were so interested in the roses Rick bought for me. Athena attempted to eat them but decided they didn't taste too good." There are some 3D elements. The butterflies are popped up with pop dots. For the largest color photo, I copied it and then cut out my cat and some of the roses, which I then used pop dots to put on top of the original photo. It's hard to tell in this picture, though. For the B&W photo, I sanded the edges and added embellies to it. I made the photo corners from the same pp I used to cut the squares, and inked the white doily heart. All of that alteration to this LO, and I still don't like it!
