On Aug 19, 2007, my Mom took me to see the Titanic Exhibit at the Ontario Science Centre. When you began the tour, you were given a boarding pass as one of the passengers on the ship. On the back of the boarding is info about a person who was onboard the ship. We got to see real Titanic artifacts locked in secure display cases. They also reconstructed rooms on the ship, such as first class bedroom to a third class room. In the third class room, you could hear the ship's engines. In the boiler room you could feel the heat. Then when we got out to the area in which they talk about the ship going down, you could feel the extremely cold temperatures, as well as touch a recreated iceberg.

Finally at the end of the exhibit, they had a board listing everybody aboard the ship. The lists were divided into 1st class, 2nd class, 3rd class, and crew. Then each category was divided into those who survived and those who died. This is when you check the name on the boarding pass and find out if the person survived or not. Sadly, the person on my boarding pass did not survive.

We were not allowed to take pictures at the exhibit. So I improvised. The photo of the Titanic you see is a Puzz-3D model. I take a picture of it when I got my first digital camera a few years ago. I changed it to a sepia tonne color. The pocket watch and compass are stickers which I got from the dollar store. The same goes with the gold and silver chains and the blue heart.
