My little rant for the day:

Once again I was reminded of how the world views rottweilers when I tried to book a campsite for our family this summer. When I asked if dogs were allowed, the woman told me that, yes, they are, as long as they aren’t “rottweilers, pit bulls, or Doberman pinschers”. Ugh. Look at this face! This sweet dog wouldn’t hurt a fly! Okay, well she would eat a fly, but she wouldn’t hurt a person. The boys ride on her back and used to pull on her ears when they were babies, but she never so much as growled at them. All Hannah wants is to be loved by her people (and to chase the light of a flashlight). I know that there are vicious rotties out there who aren’t being raised kindly, but there are also vicious Jack Russels and vicious poodles. Why can they go camping with their families?
