The left side is the inside of the front cover, and since the pages (the dark blue "page" of the lo) were cut the same size of all the pages (slightly smaller than the cover) the edge of the cover was painted blue to blend in with the paper. I stamped the "a" in brown ink on light blue and matted it on brown. Had I learned to emboss by the time I made this, I think it would have been neat to do that. The right side is a family photo of my bro, sil, and nephew with a ribbon "bow" in the corner and yellow ribbon along the bottom of the dotted paper that says "bundle of joy". Three brown eyelets added helps add to the polka dot theme of the paper. The chipboard was painted yellow behind those, so that yellow peeks thru instead of ugly chipboard.

On the left side, there are two additional holes above and below the rings. I made all the pages seperately first, then attached them all to the chipboard pages. I had to figure out where to put the holes for the rings after the pages were secured to the chipboard, and made a template to make punching the holes in each page easy. I grabbed the wrong template when I punched the cover (I made two of these and each had different places the rings would fit), so I covered it up by adding extra ribbon (see the image of the cover of the album). Also, in this picture, the page looks bubbled up between the letter and the rings...it doesn't look at all like that in real life, it's totally flat, not sure what happened when I took this pic for it to look that way.
