Megan's Playroom on 207 S. Aiken Avenue. She loved this room. I hand stenciled the heart border and made lots of crafty accents in "hearts".
Journaling reads, My PLAY room had lots and lots of baby DOLLIES with a carriage and highchair. I loved to use my ART EASEL to make mommy pretty pictures with paints. My desk was fun to play school too! My uncle Bob made me a TEA PARTY table and chairs where my big bears sat all the time. BARBIE and all her friends lived in my play room in their townhouse filled with enough wardrobes for every day of the year (for each one of them!) She drove around my room in her Corvette! I had a cool PUPPET moster with Velcro face pieces that I liked a lot and a closet full of board GAMES stacked sooooo high I always had to ask mommy for help to get them down. Even PEE WEE Herman lived in that closet! My favorite thing by far was my pet hamster LINDSAY who lived in a 3-story condo in my PLAYROOM. -1994- 7 years old.
[Megan is dressed up as "Mary, Jesus' friend" for a dress-up day at Word of God School in 1st Grade.]
This is also the first "color-blocked" page I did (and I didn't even know what the heck color-blocking was when I did it!)
