Oh, I love that the photo for daddy & the photo for mummy are matching! It's really cool that you did a page about Dad for the kids to know something about him when they are older........both of these pages have been fabulous!!
this turned out great! i asked my hubby to do one for me last night so hopefully i can get one of each of us done. i also asked him to write about the birth of our son which was 9 months ago so i might be waiting a while :)
AWESOME!!! hubby has promised me he will sit down some day and write out some thoughts for the kids for their books, but i'm still waiting. hehehe. i may just have to take the lead as you've done here. :)
I gotta tell you that I woke up this morning and had already started thinking about all the little things that I could put down on a page for me, you really inspired me yesterday with yours and now one for your hubby is just the best idea EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another page inspired by Amanda1201. Why not make yesterday’s layout about me into a 2-pager? I thought it was only fitting to have one of these about my hubby. However, since I figured I’d never get him to sit down and write one of these, it’s about him from my perspective.
Journaling: This is your daddy. He is 29 years old. He is a hard worker and has a good work ethic. He does not like to miss work. He hates to be late for anything. He does not like driving a mini-van but he would make any sacrifice for his family. He is not a picky eater and there are few things he will not eat. But he does not like generic ketchup, only Heinz will do. He hates it when there are crumbs in the butter dish. He likes to cook and is very good at grilling. He will go outside and cook on the grill year-round which really pleases mommy. He does not like to do dishes and laundry. He says he likes mommy’s personality and wishes he could talk to people that easily. He hopes the kids take after mommy in that department. He is very athletic and enjoys golfing and softball. He also likes to go four-wheeler riding. He is not a know-it-all and even if he knows he is right, he’ll let it slide. He is very laid back and does not get mad very often. He does not like to shop and gets annoyed if mommy takes too long. He likes wearing a hat, carpenter jeans, and comfortable shoes. He gets very excited about all of the kids’ accomplishments and says they’re cute several times a day. He is the best at keeping secrets. He is a very loyal friend. Family is very important to him. His favorite times are spent with family. He is very close to all three of his siblings and looks forward to spending time with them, especially now that they don’t all live here. He loves Christmas time and listens to Christmas songs all the time throughout the season. He sings along and just makes up the lyrics if he doesn’t know them. He loves Mexican food and could eat it all the time. He also loves ice cream (mainly vanilla) and chocolate chip cookies. He likes to play video games. He loves Lord of the Rings and has watched all of the movies and read the books multiple times. He also likes Indiana Jones. His favorite cartoons are the old Disney ones with Mickey and Donald. He can drink his coffee black. He likes to sleep in, but he doesn’t get to do that very much now that we have small children. He sleeps with three pillows. He can drive a stick-shift vehicle. He enjoys driving tractors and farming. He likes to deer hunt. He likes dogs, especially labs. He likes cats as long as they are not in the house. He says “crick” instead of “creek.” He always has cold hands and feet. He does not like v-neck shirts. He has neat handwriting. He is good at fixing things and would much rather do it himself than pay someone else to. He is not easily offended. He helps a lot around the house and with taking care of the kids. He gets impatient with slow drivers. He likes to watch Survivor. He can pinch really hard with his toes. He likes to go hiking and canoeing.
