Putting up the tree

Right side of a two page layout. Must see the other side for the full effect. Lots of pp and ribbon in this lo. The photos are matted on blue to bring out the blue in the pp behind the photos and the ornament color. I made the embellishment in the top left corner by cutting a circle from the blue paper and stamping an "M" and "be merry" (can't see that part in this photo, but it's on the right side of the "M" vertically). I then added to it buy cutting a strip of stars from the scraps of the pp behind the pics.

Christmas 2006. Me and my dbf's son putting up the tree. I let him put the ornaments on and just leave them where he puts them. He does a great job. I strategically overlapped the pics to "cover" some of the tree, and place most of the focus on him instead.
