Love the title, and good for you! Good luck on the workouts, I'm with ya! My mom went from over 300lbs to a size four with surgery, and I never remember a day of my life seeing her exercise, I remember thinking why would should go to all that trouble and not be really healthy? So, your daughter will notice!
Love the LO!! I know it's hard, but you're making an awesome choice to provide a great role model for Brooke. We're here for you if you need a jumpstart from time to time;) Good luck!!
susan... this is stunning and is probably one of the most beautiful "layouts" i've seen! it certainly counts!! and it is PERFECT for the message. the heart in the b/g signifies so much. i'm sooooo verrrrry proud of you!!! you keep it up, girl! let me know if you need some encouragement from time to time. the hubs and i are about to start a workout routine as well... it can get tough sometimes. maybe we can give each other pep talks. hehehe. xoxoxo!!
Well this hardly qualifies as a LO, but it's still a defining moment in my life and a page to go in my AAM book. I will apologize now if I'm a little scarce in the gallery, but after reading you may understand a little more as to why.
JOURNALING: and so it begins. Every great journey must begin somewhere and mine begins here. Working out for most people is about looking good on the outside. Working out for me means breaking a pattern. Killing a cycle. Living for love. Growing up I did not receive instruction on how to live a healthy life and have suffered for it greatly. I don’t want my daughter to grow up and suffer in the same ignorant way. I want her to be educated and mindful of her health, not her body, but her health. Big difference. Our family suffers from diabetes, on both sides. With all the education and resources out there there is no reason why my daughter should not understand the magnitude of this disease and how to prevent it. So here I go. I begin my days bright and early in a workout facility with many other people who have similar goals. But no one has the same goal I do... living life to the fullest for my daughter.
