The painting on this LO was inspired by LPMKate. Also, at first I was trying to make the photo look like a Polaroid, but then it kinda evolved from there.
Journaling reads: "Aubrey, this is a photo taken the very first time we met. Your mom and you picked me up from the airport and then we started the drive from Houston to Baytown. At one point, she pulled into a minimart to get us all drinks and snacks. She said, "I'll be right back," and then ran in before I could protest. I turned around in my seat to see a 2-year old boy staring at me. I'd never been alone with a kid this young before. It freaked me out a bit. But you were so well behaved for those five minutes. You didn't cry or scream or anything. You just looked at me with the same expression I was giving you: "She left me alone with *her?*"
