My daughter having a meltdown at the hospital the day of discharge...she had just had just about enough!! Journaling reads: "I know baby girl, you're sick of this place. How many more times are you going to be poked and prodded today? Is anyone going to let you sleep without waking you up every hour to check something? Little do you know, we're about to be discharged from the hospital and head to Gramms' place, and finally, HOME. You've been such a good girl throughout this entire ordeal, and I couldn't be more proud of you. It's okay to cry, Mommy cries too all of the time. Luckily for Mommy, there aren't many photos of me floating around in such a state. Even though I have so many pictures from the surgery, I can remember everything clear as day. This is for you. This is how strong you are. You are...amazing. (I've found a typo or two on the LO that have been corrected IRL)
