Faith isn't just a gift we have but, its a powerful weapon that God equips us with to make it through all the trials and tribulations we go through and to become that victorious child of God that we are supposed to be. The photo itself was taken during our courtship days and it was at that time I began to realize the power we have if we just have faith in Him. It was when I was learning to exercise my faith in every situation that came against me. My husband who was my fiance at the time, was such an integral part in helping me to focus on the Lord and keeping my eyes on the cross. I honestly believe that my family, my marriage, my personal confidence, and my relationship with Jesus would not be as blessed if it were not for these lessons of faith that I've encountered over the years. The list of reasons to have faith, in my opinion, was the order in which it has helped me grow as a woman of faith.
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
