Gorgeous sunset and pic of Lexi. I can see why it's one of your faves. I can't wait to see a lo using the original. Sorry about the truck--that's one way to make the trip memorable!
Wow, what a gorgeous page... I think the B&W looks great - with the contrast of the lake behind her, it really makes the focal point (being your daughter, of course) pop. Grrreat quote, too!
You have jumped with both feet into digital and have never looked back.....your work leaves me speechless!! You have picked up skills from so many places and people here (I see Lizzy, Helen and others in your work!).....I am soooo impressed!! This LO is just beautiful!! The photography, the textures and tones you've accomplished just blow me away!! Keep 'em coming!! I can't wait to see what you do with the inset photo of Lexi!!!
OMG!!!!! This is AmaZing!!!!! I love the textures you are able to create with your digit work. (I've tried but everything looks flat.) Love these colors!!! Love the quote!! Love the B&W photo!!!! Sorry to hear about your truck, but glad nobody was hurt & smart girl to be wearing your camera!! :-)
Holy Cow! This is GORGEOUS!!! So much talent here - is this digital? All that talk of overlays has me thinking it must be.?? You've put this together so beautifully!
WOWWOWOWOW!!! I don't know where to start! First of all, this took my breath away! That background picture is so serene and beautiful, like it's right out of a magazine. And the b/w photo is fantastic. I don't think the color would have made as big an impact on this page, because the contrast of the pic and the background is amazing!!! Next -- what a crazy day you must have had, when your truck rolled into the lake. Someone must have forgot to put the brake on, or something. How awful .... but where are the pictures! What a page that would be to scrap!!! "hehehehe". (sorry) Anyway - LOVE the page, right into favs!!!!!
OMG, Karin...you have totally out-done yourself here! You're right about this pic of Lexi...just beautiful! I love the combo of the sunset against the B&W....very cool effect! And how many overlays? Thank heaven you had your camera around your neck, girl...you caught it just right, and you did such an amazing job on this!!! Faves. babu!!!
*GASP!!!* Wow Karin!!! this is ubelievably BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! LOOOOOOVE the photo and the colours and all the overlays, wow, clearly you are really getting the hang of this digi stuff!!!....right down to the shadows on the journaling, love all the beautiful details!!
Where do I start??? That photo is INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How in the world did you create such a beauty like this???? I'm waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Overlays, papers, blending...I don't know but THIS is ART Mosbarger, pure ART!!!!!!!!!!!
Two of my favorite shots from the last Summer. This is my beautiful daughter, Lexi, enjoying the lake at sunset. I created the b/g paper using one of my sunset pictures and tons of textured overlays. It pained me to turn the photo of my daughter into a b/w, but it looked better with the b/g picture. The original I will be scrapping very soon- like I said, it's one of my faves!! I also created the sandy texture of the larger circle with the same overlays and a few papers blended together. It's "suppose" to look like sand! LOL!!! Thanks for looking!!!! BTW, minutes after these shots were taken, our truck rolled into the lake and was totalled....oh well, thank God my camera was around my neck!!!
