He had been having terrible pain in his hip sockets. They knew he had a hip deformity in both hips, but felt he must have a viral infection to cause the pain he had been in.
When Chris was 15, God miraculously gave him 2 new hip sockets about 4 minutes after being prayed for at a Church called the Vineyard in Albany Oregon. He didn't feel a thing when they prayed for him, but after he sat back down next to me, he started to tremble, and said: Mom, I think God is healing me! I feel my bones moving all around! Mom! Something's happening"!
I told him He was, and just to let it all happen. Then, when he felt it was done, I said: Ok. Now stand up, and let's look & see! He stood, and for the 1st time in his life, his feet were straight out in front of him. He had suffered repeated ridicule & always tripped and fell when he tried to run as a child. Becaues the hips were deformed, it made both of his feet trun inward. The right foot even more so. Kids called him 'Duck Foot' and laughed at him, which brought him to tears on a regular basis.
So, to celebrate his new hips & stright feet, we went out after that service, and bought him a new pair of shoes! Size 14's in mens mind you! He was already about 6ft 2, and is now 6ft 4 at age 20!
