first and foremost, i love this layout. my one regret was not seeing the tower bridge :[ and that quote is more than true. instead of being happy to see the things i saw in europe, i came home and all i could think about was all the things i didn't see. i hope one day you do get to see big ben :]

Big Ben

Another LO from my England trip in 1998. Hidden journaling on the 'regrettably' page.
My one regret about my trip to England is that I didn't see Big Ben. The first day of the 3 week trip we passed by the House of Parliament on our way to Westminster Abbey. Looking up I snapped the picture and kept following the others. At the time I didn't make the connection that Big Ben is a part of the governmental buildings; I believed it to be at a separate location altogether. During our stay in London one of the group members mentioned going to Parliament, I was asked to go, and in my then ignorance I declined. Now, I wish I had said 'yes'. Maybe someday I will return to London and when I do I will be sure to see the famous, enormous clock and tower affectionately known as Big Ben.
