This morning while I was doing my devotion, I kept thinking about Christ's sacrifice on the cross and how he did it willingly because he loves me. I was moved by that and felt that I needed to scrap it.
"17The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. 18No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father." John 10:17,18
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God." Ephesians 2:8
