Journaling: The fallen branches & sticks have been piling up for 2 years, so today Dad said it was time to have a BONFIRE. Mom had us gather any other debris from last weeks' storm and throw it on the pile. Then, Dad started the lighter. It took less than an hour to burn the pile and all the leaves in the backyard. Dad, always conscious of safety, had the garden hose out for control (later we found out the fire had burned a small hole in it). Now we can't wait to light the pile in the front, along with the old tree stump.____________I glued the flame paper onto the back of the black, then tore it in small strips and curled. I glued the journaling to the back after curling the strips. I learned this trick at a local scrapbook store.
