Just back from Disney World, but I am not quite ready to scrap those yet so I picked what I thought would be an easy picture to scrap but it took me forever! Basically because it's a picture of a picture in a recycled paper coloring book and it has that yucky yellow tint that needed adjustment without losing the blue. Then I just had the hardest time placing everything. I think it's been too long since I scrapped!!!! Oh well. I think I am happy with it. I do like the writing on the wall thing going on anyway. TFL!

Journaling reads:
It shouldn’t surprise anyone to learn that sometimes on our morning dates we end up enjoying each others company at Starbucks. And lucky for us, a new Starbucks recently opened closer to the house. It never fails that once we get our drinks and sit in their comfy chairs, I sit and look at the wall. And I always say, “I love that color of blue.” I take just a moment to dream of a bedroom that color and then set the dream aside knowing that our military housing won’t comply. * Sigh. * One day I had to run errands and thankfully you stayed behind with the kids. Upon returning home, I learned that you and Emily colored together in her fun and unique Doodles coloring book. You were both excited to show me the walls you colored Emily proudly showed off her sparkly purple wall and you showed off your beautifully blue wall. You smiled and said, “I am painting it blue like the wall at Starbucks for you.” After 11 years of marriage and 15 years of being together, it’s not the extravagance of flowers or expensive gifts that touch my heart. It’s small moments like this that I treasure most. Proof that you thought of me while doing the simplest of things. It’s a subtle but great sign of your love for me. And for that I am so very thankful.
