Here's my second piece. Picture of my son Josh when he was 2 years old. My friend Amanda in New Zealand took these photos... I've always wanted to do something about them and I finally materialised that desire now.

I stitched glass beads and left-over buttons on the bottom part to add a 3d effect.

The ascending text near the middle reads: "Ten thousand saw I at a glance, tossing their heads in sprightly dance"..., excerpeted from William Wordsworth's "I Wandered Lonely As a Cloud" - thought it's just so appropriate. Added journaling on the daffodil inset at the right hand side. TFL:-)
