The sentiment behind this layout is so important to me and very close to my heart. It has taken me forever to finish this and I'm happy to have it done. The clock is completely handmade. I made it before I even knew they had the huge overlay clocks! lol Before my husband left for Iraq, I was pretty upset that he was having to go once again. The words (wait) and (waiting) kept coming to me. That's the story of my life it seems.
I will spare you the journaling because it's long. I just tell my husband (hidden journaling on tag) how before we even met, I had waited for him (my soul mate) to come into my life. Today--married and 8 years later--I'm still waiting for him. It seems as though these deployments are so close together. It's hard but I want him to know that I faithfully wait here for him. I will continue to wait for him--always and forever--because he's definitely worth the wait--he's the love of my life and I could not imagine loving or being with anyone else but him.

I want to thank Kim for merging the two photos together digitally for me. It's the perfect effect I was going for.
The quote on the picture reads:
Contrary to what the cynics say, distance is not for the fearful-it's for the bold. It's for those who are willing to spend a lot of time alone in exchange for little time with the one they love. It is for those knowing a good thing when they see it, even if they don't see it nearly enough!

Should I add another stamped flourish to the very top right hand corner? I'm horrible when it comes to stamping and the placement!!

I apologize for the shadows on here---the clouds kept coming and going while I was trying to take a decent picture.
Thanks so much for looking! Sandy
