I've had such a crazy week (just life in general) that I am terribly behind in the galleries again. However I saw Amanda's Heart Stopping layout and knew I had to try her techniques to save this photo. Rosie was wearing a vintage hat that I had bought years ago at an auction. It still has the price tag on it!! I tried over and over to scrap it last weekend and threw out all of my attempts!!

I ended up duplicating my photo and applying a Guassian Blur and setting both photo layers on overlay. I duplicated the bg layer and made that an overlay on top of all the layers. Trust me...If you saw this photo *before* you'd think it was a miracle. It had shadows and clutter in the background that I couldn't avoid! It's not the best work, but it's an improvement!!! Oh...and of course I had to jump on the *heart* bandwagon! Definitely the right time of year for that!!
