This was a sympathy card I made for a co-worker who unexpectedly and tragically lost her mother just before xmas. When going through my supplies, the white cardstock just seemed so appropriate. I didn't want to use anything too dark. The purple script reminded so much of a letter and the vellum overtop soften and hinted at it. The overall effect just gave me peace... as if the letter were from the lost loved one saying "goodbye" and "it's gonna be ok".
