Pictures from the pirate ship in west edmonton mall - Matt and I trying our best to be pirates. I got the idea for the compass type shape from the paper... and I scrunched up the journaling page for a more 'piratey' type look...

Since a few have asked how I did the compass.. I first cut out a the largest circle. I then measured out the 4 larger points, and glued them into the center. next, I matted the photo in the middle onto a circular piece of a lighter color and glued tha in the middle over the large points. I measured and cut out the smaller points in the same lighter color, and glued them to the photo from behind. I was left w/ the outside larger circle divided into 8 portions. I just traced each section onto my photo and cut it out, leaving extra on the edges for space to glue. I hope that helps some!! It was realy actually quite easy and I hope to try this technique again in a modified way on a different LO.
