This is so great to show my pages to someone besides my kids! I am just learning how to use my scanner and post things so hopefully I will get better. This has inspired me to get back to my "craft room" and get things sorted and cleaned out - so I can get some more pages completed. Please feel free to give advice as well. Thanks for your input! You'll Be Home For Christmas...If Only In Our Dreams

I did this layout for my husband, Ben, who is in Iraq. This was the first Christmas that he had to miss. I wanted to capture as many moments as I could to share with him. I used a square punch to create the "tiled" border. I used a map of Iraq to pinpoint where he was. The photo of him opens to the journaling with additional pictures of himself sent from Iraq.
