This is my music box. My daddy bought it for me one Christmas when I was in hs. We were out shopping for my mom, he was looking for one for her. I didn't say a word, never said I wanted one or that I liked them. But Daddy knew. On Christmas morning, I opened the box, and I thought my dad mixed them up, and I had my mom's gift. Nope, he got it for ME! The song HE picked out is James Taylor's "You've got a Friend' (AW!!!)
Maybe it's silly, but I think my dad when I see this, and how he knew what I wanted, without me saying anything or asking for it. My mom didn't think i'd want it, it's more 'frilly' than I was into, but I did want one, and Daddy knew that.
My dad picked out the box and the song all on his own!!!
