I chose to color my Paintables with watercolor pencils. I colored certain areas with high intensity and left may of the areas with no color at all. When I washed over the color with a wet brush it softened the pencil strokes and pulled some of the color out into the uncolored areas. This left the Paintable with a very deliberate but uneven amount of intensities.
To finish it off, I embellished the outer rings of the circles with green metallic foil and the inside circles with glossy accents.
For the Black Tie Flowers, I colored with Twinkling H2Os. These watercolors give the flowers a subtle pearlescent effect.
