I'm Thinking of an Animal... pt. 1

Journaling:
When the boys were younger, this was our very favorite game to play in the car. This is an example of how a game would have gone with Justin age 7, Jake age 6, Jackson age 2:

Mama: I’m thinking of an animal…
Justin: Is it a mammal?
Mama: Yes, it’s a mammal.
Justin: Does it have fur?
Mama: Yes, all mammals have fur.
Justin: Is it a GIRAFFE?
Mama: No, not a giraffe.
Jake: Is it a TIGER?
Mama: No, it’s not a tiger.
Jackson: Is it a TRAIN?
Mama: No, it’s not a train.
Daddy: Does it live in North America?
Mama: Yes.
Daddy: Does it live at our house?
Mama: I hope not!
Justin: Is it bigger than a breadbox?
Mama: Yes.
Jake: (what is a breadbox?)
Justin: Does it eat meat?
Mama: No – it’s a vegetarian.
Jake: Is it a SHARK?
Mama: No – sharks are not mammals
or vegetarians - they’re fish.
Jackson: Is it a TRAIN?
Mama: Yes, Jackson, it’s a train. You
win.
Daddy: Is it a TRACTOR?
Mama: No – I just told you it’s a train.
Justin: Is it dangerous?
