This layout is just perfect. I really like how you tucked the journaling behind the photo with the button pull so you could write everything you wanted to say. The colors are great, and he is adorable!

Journaling is tucked behind the photo with the button as a pull-out tab and reads:
Jacob, there are so many things about you that I love. When you first learned to talk, you called your grandpa “Depot.” We never could figure out where that came from. Then you began calling me “Mawger,” and we decided that you were saying Grandma backwards. At first, it concerned me that you couldn’t say Grandma, but as time passed, I came to treasure your little “nickname” for me. Grandpa even answered to Depot. By the time you were almost three, you suddenly began calling us Grandma and Grandpa. I really miss hearing “Mawger”….but I also love it when you call me Grandma. Jacob, every time you walk in that back door and call my name, you brighten my day. I love you!
