This LO is for the album I’m starting for our Nov 07 holiday. Mind you I haven’t finished our Oct 2000 holiday yet!! To celebrate both our 15th Wedding anniversary and my 50th birthday which were less than a month apart, my DH took me to LA where we hired this mustang convertible and spent three days cruising around LA and Hollywood. Then we took a leisurely drive to Las Vegas where we spent 4 days cruising around and valeting the car everywhere we went. Then we came back to LA for a coupla days before heading home again. It was the first time we drove a car on the ‘other’ side of the road and we loved having the freedom of the car and being able to do as we pleased whenever the urge hit us. It was our first holiday alone without our DD since she was born almost 14 yrs ago and we had a ball!! Everyone kept telling us it was a long way to go (13 hr flight each way from Sydney) just for a 9 day holiday, but it was worth it! Best birthday present I ever got! Inked edge didn’t scan all the way.
