My Submission for MSD's Feb. 08: Valentine Poetry Challenge With Prizes. I am so inspired with by Scrap Tigz's LOs. The "negative space", "less-is-more" idea really appealed to me for this LO.
We had to use an Acrostic poem for this, so I wrote mine to suit my life, and this LO. It is printed on a tag that pulls out w/ the red hearts.
My Poem:
*T*ogether we set out and started our life
*R*eaching past all that was strange.
*U*nderstanding there may be some trial and strife,
*E*ach promising to grow and to change.
*L*et us always remember, never forget
*O*ur vows made one to another.
*V*ery often life's journeys defeat us and yet
*E*ach moment is ours to discover.
