This is a layout of when Ryan was about ten months old. The poem says
It's so much fun to watch you play! An adventure awaits you every day. Crawl, crawl, crawl, upon the floor, Exploring every open door. Shake your rattle, chase your ball, Stand up, sit down, or maybe fall. Look! Inside that mirror! It's you! Then chew, chew, chew on Daddy's shoe. Munch on a piece of last night's meal, Spin and spin that wagon wheel. Pop the bubbles with your nose, Stop to contemplate your toes. Knock down that big stack of blocks, Pull off hat and pull off socks. Climb up high on Daddy's chair, Laugh at Mommy's tickly hair. Turn that toy-tub upside down, Cruise and smile, fall and frown. Come find Mommy for a hug, Investigate the welcome rug. Help Daddy with his 'puter game, Pretend you do not know your name. Try to eat the telephone, Chase the doggy, steal his bone. Stare and stare up at the fan, Bang on all the pots and pans. Read a book on Daddy's lap, Then cuddle blankie for a nap. Sweet busy boy, I just can't say How much I love to watch you play.
